Our 18-year old furnace began micro-cycling (5 second cycles) two days ago. We’d already had the HVAC contractor who provides our bi-annual inspections take a look at the furnace and were not impressed with their response as to the cause of the problem. Shane Awtrey was recommended by a friend. Shane came out, listed 3 possible repair scenarios and the price of each. Then he mentioned the multiple reasons to install a new, replacement furnace. His logic was impeccable. But then he took the time to explain your program whereby we could install a new furnace that you would finance for us and we were sold. Shane and his crew showed up at 8:30 AM today as promised. They took care to lay down runners and mats to protect our floors and carpeting. His crew was clean-cut, well-spoken and polite. They worked steadily throughout the day and finished in about 8 hours. They cleaned up every inch of their work areas (both inside and out) and left our house in immaculate condition. Then Shane stayed to show us each component of the system, how to program the new thermostat, gave us all our pamphlets and brochures and thanked us for the business. About four years ago my furnace had to be replaced. I found Awtrey HVAC on the internet. Called him, he came out promptly put in a bid and did the work. A little over a year later my main AC unit broke. Since I was satisfied with the work on the furnace I called Awtrey again to replace that unit. Then this Spring my second AC unit broke and I called him back. That was three separate jobs and all were done in an high quality, professional way. Shane Awtrey is a young man with high principles. I trust him with my HVAC needs, although as i told him after the last job I hope I didn't have to call him back in the near future...but if something did break he would get the call. He also believes in service after the sale. He doesn't install then disappear.

I used Awtrey Heating & Air Conditioning to repair the air conditioning unit last week. He cleaned and serviced the air conditioning unit and in the process found that the condenser coil had a problem so replaced it. He also checked the main furnace unit and recommended changing the filter and getting disposable filters. He also checked the duct work and recommended that I get one of the ducts replaced eventually. We also worked out on a service agreement so that I will continue with the company. Though I had to pay extra money for the service agreement I think I was worth it. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and thorough. He recommended so many things and told me what I needed to do to help make the AC unit work better. He did not try to sell everything to me upfront. He was a great guy. I was really happy to have hired him for the work. His customer service skills were good. He was truly dedicated to do the work that he loved to do and tried best to help me as a customer and give the best service possible. I would also like to highlight one thing. Once I came home from a vacation on a Sunday night to find that the AC was not working. I emailed this man at 11:30 at night, and he called me at 8 in the morning the next day and said he will be dropping by to check, and he was here by 9. That was a really spectacular experience I had with him.

Shane is by far the best service person I have ever dealt with. My furnace went out this past winter and I solicited several bids to have a both a new furnace and AC unit put in. I was told by other contractors that it would take two days to put in and was quoted some really outrageous prices on lesser quality products.
